WHY DID YOU START THIS BLOG?

Because I read so much and non-stop talk about the books I read, my friend, Miranda and my boyfriend, Sal both told me I should start a blog. So with their push, I started my book blog!

WHAT ARE SOME FUN AND UNIQUE THINGS THAT YOU CAN BRING TO BOOK BLOGGING?

I think just being myself and putting myself out there and saying what I want to say!

WHY DO YOU LOVE READING?

It’s an escape from reality!

WHAT BOOK OR SERIES GOT YOU INTO READING?

I’ve always been a reader but there are a few book series that have made me the reader I am today. The Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew, Harry Potter, and His Dark Materials. I go into more details on why each of these series have impacted my life here.

WHAT QUESTIONS WOULD YOU ASK YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?

I would like to know where they come up with their inspirations for their stories.

WHAT CHALLENGES DO YOU THINK STARTING A BLOG WILL BE THE HARDEST TO OVERCOME?

Finding the balance between blogging, work, and spending time with my family and friends.

WHEN DID YOU START READING?

Since before I can remember. My mom has always been a reader and she would read to my as a child. Then I became old enough to read on my own and I never stopped! Reading has always been a part of my life. (It also helps that my mom is a teacher.)

WHERE DO YOU READ?

Honestly, I get most of my reading done at work. I’m a caregiver for a 93 year old man. I’m with him 10 hours a day and I probably read at least half of my shift, if not more. I get a lot of downtime at work; I’m allowed to read when he is just watching tv or napping, and being 93 years old, that’s most of the day.

WHAT KIND OF BOOKS DO YOU LIKE TO READ?

YA, fantasy, magical realism, historical fiction, thriller, horror, sci fi, dystopian, post-apocalyptic.
