The NetGalley Tag

Hey guys! Sorry for posting two tags back to back but I’m just really in the mood to do a tag today! So, I’m cheating here and doing a tag I wasn’t even tagged in. Whoops. I’m also ignoring the never-ending list of tags that I actually am tagged in. Sorry! I asked my boyfriend to choose from the list of tags I have written down and he chose this one, so this is the one I’m doing.

I saw this tag over on Destiny’s blog, Howling Libraries. You guys really should go check her blog out! It’s full of great content and Destiny is an amazing blogger and person! She didn’t tag anyone but left the tag open to anyone who wants to do it, so here I am tagging myself! Let’s get on with the tag!

  1. Link back to the tag’s creator: Kourtni at Kourtni Reads.
  2. Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.
  3. Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
  4. Tag a few people to do this too!

Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?

Going out of the YA genre for this question, but Dan Brown! I love all of his books!

What makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?

The cover is the first thing that I notice! From there I read the synopsis and choose whether or not I want to request it.

Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?

Yes, I review every book I read! I am a book blogger after all!

If you could create one badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

Most requested galleys! I request more than I can handle; can’t I get a little recognition for that? Haha.

What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black! Come on NetGalley and just approve my request already!! I’m tired of waiting, darn it!

What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?

Gray Wolf Island by Tracey Neithercott! Check out my 4 star review here!

  1. This tag is amazing!! I’d probably never get the most requested galleys badge seeing as I’ve used Netgalley for a year and have requested less than 20 books 😂😂😂

  2. Thanks for the tag! I’m super excited to do this one. I completely agree about requesting too many. My ratio sucks on Netgalley, but I’m trying to get it higher. And yes to wanting to read The Cruel Prince!

  3. I’ve kept requests down but that means my ratio isn’t great as I’m still working on reviewing the few I have…it will be 75% by the end of the week, though!
