Harry Potter Spells Book Tag

If you haven’t noticed by now, I am slightly obsessed with anything Harry Potter! I am going to a Potterfest this weekend and thought it would be the perfect occasion to put up a Harry Potter tag! I was tagged by Norees at No Reads Too Great! Thank you so much for the tag! This tag was originally created by Kimberlyfaye Reads. All graphic credit goes to her as well!

AN UPCOMING RELEASE YOU WISH YOU COULD GET YOUR HANDS ON RIGHT NOW!

img_2589I needed this book in my hands yesterday!
img_2570

FAVORITE SERIES STARTER.

img_2212

No surprise here! If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you’ll know I’m obsessed with this series.

img_2571

A BOOK THAT GAVE YOU ALL THE WARM FUZZIES.

img_2590

I simply adore Morgan Matson’s books and this one is my absolute favorite!

img_2572

A BOOK THAT MADE YOU UGLY CRY.

img_2591

This one not only made me ugly cry, but it gave me a migraine from crying so much.

img_2573

BOOKISH HERO OR HEROINE YOU WANT AROUND TO PROTECT YOU IN REAL LIFE.

img_2592

Kaz Brecker and if I can, all the Dregs, thank you very much!

img_2574

A BOOK YOU INTENTIONALLY SPOILED FOR YOURSELF.

img_2594

After watching the movie (yes, I watched the movie before reading the book), I just had to know the truth about Jace and Clary.

img_2575

A BOOK YOU WISH YOU COULD MAKE EVERYONE READ BECAUSE YOU LOVED IT SO MUCH.

img_1962

I’ve talked about this book before and I will continue to talk about it until every one of my followers picks this book up and reads it. It is a masterpiece!

img_2576

A BOOK OR SERIES YOU WISH NEVER ENDED.

img_2595

Can there be another answer for this?

img_2577

A BOOK WITH AN UPLIFTING ENDING OR MESSAGE.

img_2426

I love how even though this book explored some difficult topics, everything turned out all right. Makes my heart happy.

img_2578

A BOOK YOU WISH YOU COULD FORGET YOU EVER READ.

img_2596

While Divergent wasn’t terrible, I hated Insurgent and Allegiant.

img_2579

AN AUTHOR WHOSE BOOKS ALWAYS GET YOU OUT OF A SLUMP.

img_2595

I know I’ve already talked about Harry Potter on this tag, but J.K. Rowling’s books are always the first ones I pick up when I feel a slump coming on.

img_2580

A SWOON-WORTHY HERO OR HEROINE.

img_2597

There’s no one I love more than James Carstairs!

img_2581

A BOOK THAT CAUSED YOU TO STOP DOING ALL OTHER THINGS UNTIL YOU FINISHED IT.

img_1931

I literally did not move from my spot until this book was read cover to cover! Such a great mystery thriller novel!

img_2582

A BOOK THAT WAS PAINFUL TO READ (FOR WHATEVER REASON) OR BROKE YOU.

img_2598

I was originally going to go with a WWII book, but decided on the first book to ever completely destroy me. I remember reading this back when I was 13 years old and literally crying over the ending for at least a good month. This is also when I first came across fan fiction. I was so devastated by this ending that I was googling different endings for this book. I guess you can say I did not take this ending very well.

img_2583

A BOOK THAT HAD YOU LAUGHING OUT LOUD.

img_2528

To be honest, I don’t really read funny books. I am having a hard time coming up with an answer. I guess I’ll go with the last book I can remember laughing while reading.

img_2584

A BOOK THAT MADE YOU WANT TO SEND IT (OR YOUR E-READER) FLYING.

img_2599

I can remember getting really upset while reading this series. I just can’t remember the exact book, but I can remember the reason why I got upset.

img_2585

BOOKISH WORLD YOU WISH YOU COULD VISIT.

img_2595

Hogwarts will always and forever be my answer to this question.

img_2586

A BOOK WITH A SHOCKING TWIST OR ENDING.

img_2121

I did not see that ending coming, and I loved it!

img_2587

A CHARACTER DEATH THAT DESTROYED YOU.

img_2039

I’m crying just thinking about it.

img_2588

BEST SERIES CONCLUSION.

img_2591

Another repeat. No shame. I love this series, and I especially love the conclusion to The Infernal Devices.

  1. The Amber Spyglass impacted me as a kid, too! It taught me I didn’t always need to have a happy ending for stories, honestly, and I loved rereading the series a couple of years ago. (And I’m excited to read The Book of Dust!) I also have needed to read The Shadow of the Wind for a long time…I love the cover you have!
