Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well! My friend Lia over at Witchie Chapters was kind enough to tag me in the 7 Deadly Sins Book Tag! Thanks so much, Lia! Definitely make sure you hop on over to her blog and check out her post as well! Well, let’s get into it!

GREED

What is the most expensive book you own? What is the least expensive book you own?

My most expensive book is definitely my limited edition signed copy of The Book of Dust: La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman. This book was being sold by Waterstones over in the UK. Well since I’m from the US, on top of paying the price for the special edition, I also had to pay a pretty penny for shipping as well.

I could name off a ton of books for my least expensive book. I have gotten a lot of books sent to me for free or given to me as a gift. So yeah, I don’t really have one particular inexpensive book. I have a bunch.

GLUTTONY

What book or books have you shamelessly devoured many times?

This would have to go to the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. When I was in high school I re-read this series over and over again. I’ve lost count how many times but it’s definitely over 10. And that goes for the entire series, not just Twilight.

SLOTH

What book or series have you neglected over sheer laziness?

Sarah J. Maas’ books. Both ACOTAR and Throne of Glass. I own most of the books for these series and still haven’t read them. I will eventually. Just not today.

PRIDE

What book or books do you bring up when you want to sound like an intellectual reader?

Umm…I don’t? I don’t care what people think about the books I read and I don’t try to make myself sound smarter than I am. I proudly tell people I read YA books. No shame.

LUST

What attributes do you find most attractive in your characters?

Intelligence and empathy. Humorous characters are good too.

ENVY

What books would you most like to receive as a gift?

I have a few I want right now. Reign of the Fallen, The Cruel Prince, and Harry Potter illustrated editions.

WRATH

What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?

I’m going to go with Cassandra Clare. I absolutely love her books, but I’ve heard some questionable things about her as a person.

  9. Great tag! Yeah I’m not a fan of Cassie Clare as a person. I have a love/hate relationship with Sarah J Maas. I love her as a person, but not a fan of the way her books are turning out.

      1. You may really like them. I just know more people who aren’t as big of fans anymore. I guess it depends on what you think of the first two books in both series.

  16. Wow, that version of The Book of Dust is so beautiful I kind of want to cry.
    On another note, my personal love/hate relationship with an author is Sarah J Maas… I love her books so much, but I also have some problems with them too.

  31. Oh my gosh you haven’t read ACOTAR? Definitely read the series, it is so awesome. I am going shit crazy for the next book and the last one only just came out lol.
