Book Blogger Confessions Tag

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely Friday! I came across the Book Blogger Confessions Tag over on Kat’s book blog, Rustic Pages and it looked like a lot of fun. I wasn’t actually tagged, I just decided I wanted to do it. Let’s get into it!

Which book, most recently, did you not finish?

I dnf’d Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings about 80 pages in. I just wasn’t feeling it and decided to set it aside for the time being. I’m not sure if I’ll ever pick it back up to be honest.

Which book is your guilty pleasure?

Going to go with the same answer as Kat and say Twilight. It’s not the best series out there but I still love it.

Which book would you throw into the sea?

I’m going to have to give Given to the Sea by Mindy McGinnis back to the sea! Totally did not like that book.

Which book have you read the most?

Definitely Twilight. I was obsessed with the series back in high school. I used to read it over and over again.

Which book would you hate to receive as a present?

Oh I don’t know. I love books so much that I always will give a book a chance.

Which book could you not live without?

Harry Potter. No explanation needed.

Which book made you cry the most?

I bawled for over 2 hours while reading Clockwork Princess and actually gave myself a migraine.

Which book cover do you hate the most?

I don’t have a specific book cover that I hate, but I don’t really care for all those half-naked men on the covers on romance novels. Sorry to my romance-loving blogging friends! I just hate most of those covers. I much prefer an artistic cover.

Thank you all for reading! I hope you all have a lovely weekend! ‘Til next time!

  1. I’d have to agree about not liking book covers with half-naked men in them. I feel uncomfortable about them. I also have little to no liking on book covers that show real life people as the cover (unless they’re illustrations). It makes it a lot less appealing compared to books with, as you said, an artistic cover. No offense to other readers! Just a difference in preference.

  2. Twilight is my guilty pleasure as well, like, I get that it’s problematic but it means so much to me because of where I was when it came out.. Also half naked men are the reason I read all my romance novels on my kindle
