Easter Book Tag

Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you the Easter Book Tag! I was tagged by the lovely Bree @ Bree’s Books! Thank you so much Bree!

This tag was originally created by Rosie @ Rosie the Reader over on YouTube!

Rabbits – A book you wish you could multiply.

I’m going to say The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson. I’ve just finished the series conclusion and I just didn’t like the way it left off. I didn’t feel like I had enough closure. Plus I just want more books about the characters. I just love them all so much! (Yes, I know she is coming out with another book in the same world, but it’s just not the same. I want books about the characters I already know, not new ones!)

Egg – A book that surprised you.

I did not expect to love The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon as much as I did. Now it is tied as my favorite book of all-time.

Hunt – A book that was hard for you to get your hands on.

The Bachman Books: Four Early Novels by Stephen King

Rage by Richard Bachman a.k.a. Stephen King, was taken out of print due to its link to several school shootings. It is extremely hard to find. I was lucky enough to buy it as part of The Bachman Books on eBay sometime last year. For more information on why Rage has been taken out of print, check out this page here.

Lambs – A children’s book that you still enjoy.

Harry Potter counts as a children’s book, right?

Spring – A book with a cover that makes you think of Spring.

Going with the same book as Bree here. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi.

Jesus – A religious or spiritual book that you love.

I am not religious so I do not have an answer for this one.

Rising From the Dead – A book from a deceased author.

Going with one of my favorite classics of all-time, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Baskets – A book that is in your Amazon cart or wishlist right now.

It’s not out yet, but I can’t wait to get my hands on Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff!!

Candy – A book that is sweet.

This is a hard one for me. I don’t read too many “sweet” books, but I guess I will go with Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson. It is one of my favorite contemporary books that I have read!

  1. I can’t wait until “Nevernight” and “Godsgrave” comes in from interlibrary loan! You and others have made them sound so good! But lord, that first book from “The Remnant Chronicles” put me in the deepest reading slump of my life! Glad you enjoyed them though. Loved this tag!
