Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful March! Winter is finally over! Yay for that! March wasn’t my best reading month but that’s okay. I haven’t had the greatest month if I’m to be honest. My older brother passed away this month, I am in the process of moving, and I am now sick. I ended up reading 6 books in the month of March. Not too bad considering the rough month I’ve had. I’m hoping April will be a much better month for me! Let’s get into the books I managed to read in the month of March!

My friend Vicki @ Tippytups created The 2018 Reading Challenge and I decided to participate. Click on her name to find out more info on this challenge!
In January I was able to complete two of the challenges: a book published this year (Before I Let Go by Marieke Nijkamp) and a book from a bestseller list (The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas)
In February, I was able to complete 4 more of the challenges: A book that you can finish in a day (The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo), A book published before you were born (Animal Farm by George Orwell), A book you own but have never read (The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald), A book that is non-fiction (The Stranger in the Woods by Michael Finkel)
In March I was able to complete two more challenges!
- A book that is a friend’s favorite
- Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
- My friend Jessica’s favorite book
- A book that you’ve already read
- Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King
In total I have completed 8 of the 12 challenges! I think I’m making pretty good progress!
What I have left to complete of the challenge:
• A book picked for you by someone else
• A book borrowed from your local library
• A book from your childhood
• A book written in the decade you were born in
That completes my wrap up! How many books did you read this month? Let me know in the comments below! ‘Til next time!
I’m sorry for your loss and such a rough month 💔😔

I am so proud of you for still getting some reading done with everything that has been going on. You are such a strong person! I had just heard of Mark Lawrence because of Dorka, so I intend to eventually read some of his books myself. Sounds like “Red Sister” was decent. Great to see what you read, even if it was a rough month.

Thanks, Cassie! I’m proud of myself too! ❤️ I think you would like Mark Lawrence. Though if I’m completely honest, Red Sister and Nevernight are really super duper similar stories and I prefer Nevernight over Red Sister. If you read both, I’d like to hear your thoughts on them!
