I was tagged by one of my blogging besties, Kris over at Boston Book Reader! Thanks so much for the tag! Make sure you all head on over to her post and check out her answers as well!
The struggle of getting started: A book or series you struggle to begin because of its size.
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I want to read it so badly, but I am intimidated with the amount of books in the series.
Cleaning out the closet: A book or series you want to unhaul.
The House of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. It just got to be too many books. I’m over this series. It needs to go!
Opening windows and letting fresh air in: A book that was refreshing.
The Kitty Hawk Detective Agency books! They are YA adventure books and are totally unique and fun! I love this series and have the third one yet to read and review!
Washing out the sheets: A book with a scene you wish you could rewrite.
I love this book, but ugh..There is a disgusting scene in here that totally brought the book down in my opinion. Luckily, both of the movies left out the scene. It was just unneeded and unnecessary in my opinion. If you’ve read this book before, you’ll most likely know what scene I am talking about.
Throwing out unnecessary knick knacks: A book in a series you didn’t think was necessary.
Not counting Queen Song in this. I do think Steel Scars was unnecessary though.
Polishing doorknobs: A book that had a clean finish.
I know this is also a series, but I do believe A Wrinkle in Time can stand on its own. It didn’t end on a cliffhanger and it didn’t leave me with questions. It had a nice clean ending in my personal opinion.
Reaching to dust the fan: A book that tried too hard to relay a certain message.
This book grated on my nerves with the amount of pop culture references and trying to be relevant as to what is going on now in our society, such as racism. Don’t get me wrong, I think it is important to stand against racism, but this book tried too hard. The way the author went about it was just too in your face. I don’t know, it might just be me, but in my opinion there are better ways to go about it.
The tiring, yet satisfying finish of spring cleaning: A book series that was tiring but satisfying to get through.
Okay y’all, I’m not dissing on this series in the slightest. Actually, if you know me, you’ll know this is one of my favorite book series, but damn is it tiring to read through all of these books. There are just so many and more on the way. But I ain’t hating! I’ll take all the Jem I can get!!
I tag:
And anyone else who wants to do this! Hope y’all enjoyed! ‘Til next time!
I haven’t read like any of these books. I’ve only read the first two TMI books, so I have a long ways to go to finish those series. I completely agree that Steel Scars is unnecessary.

Lovely answers Danielle! I know the HON series is a big series and growing, but I still love it. I haven’t read any of the other books on your list though.

Queen Song is worth reading. I’d say go ahead and skip Steel Scars. The scene in IT was disturbing.

I still need a Stephen King book in my collection so might choose another book 😂 thanks for the recommendation I will have a look at Queens song.

Awwwhhh… Dark Tower is my favourite series! Read it twice. I think i was lucky cuz when i started them, not all books were published yet, so it didn’t seem so massive. That said, I’d read anything by Stephen King so this is not an issue for me 🙈😍

Have you read IT? And love TMI but it is such a huge series I can see why it would be intimidating!

I don’t want to spoil anyone for the scene in IT that I’m talking about so if you want to message me on twitter about it, I’ll be more than happy to tell you 😊

Never read the book IT however, I saw the movie IT when it was on vcr tape. Part 1 and part 2. It was when I was in college so I think it was in late 1980’s or early 1990’s. Most likely late 1980’s since I graduated in 1993.
